“A single step for man – A giant leap for mankind” – When Neil Armstrong stepped on the sandy soil of moon, he proclaimed the great scientific achievement of human race. Recently passed away Neil left a permanent mark.

The story of Okkaliga Samudaya Pathina Sahakari Sangha Ltd. runs on similar lines. it was inaugurated on 02-02-2002. Shri Shri Dharmapalanatha Swamiji of Mangalore branch of Adichunchanagiri Maha Samsthana blessed the Society. Architect of modern Sullia, great educationist, Sahakari Bandhu, the visionary, Sri. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda inaugurated this society with his benign presence.

We planned many useful projects in the society in order to inculcate the good habit of savings, careful spending, self help and service above self. To improve agriculture, we provide the “Land Mortgage Loans” to the peasants. We also provide Security Loan, Vehicle Loan, Machine loan etc. We are happy to help our member to initiate small scale industries, self employment and host other independent ventures. We provide educational loans, housing loans, loans to cleanse and repair water tanks, water harvesting etc. Our very important purpose is to avoid our people from falling into the trap of “Money Lenders” and ruin their life.
